What Daylog does
- Tap once to time what you are doing. Sub-activities can be nested inside a session.
- Records where you stayed and for how long. Your route is kept too, so you can retrace the day.
- Set a weekly target per tag and watch the bars fill.
- Start and stop from the home screen widget without opening the app.
- Everything stays on the device. There is no account to create.
Frequently asked
- Does location have to be set to "Always"?
- It is needed for automatic recording. Without it, everything you time by hand still works.
- Does it use a lot of battery?
- By default it collects closely, and that costs battery. Turn off "How closely to collect" in Settings and it only detects arriving and leaving, which uses less.
- Do my records go to a server?
- No. The app has no server. See the privacy policy for detail.
- Do records move to a new device?
- Not automatically, not yet. You can export your records to a file and keep it.
- My widget looks empty.
- Press and hold the widget on the home screen and add it again. If it is still empty, write to the address above.
- What language is the app in?
- Korean and English. It follows your device language.
